Default F Type Project 7

I posted a thread in the Canadian section but was wondering who here has ordered a Project 7 and if you could share information on ordering process or any other details you may have.

Thanks

There is no roof. Its really a track car only. I hope it doesn't become a garage queen.

I believe vic55 ordered one. 2 months ago the local dealer said they could get me one. This was before the big debut. But I think you should still be able to get one, don't think they're sold out. Guessing a nice deposit is required.

Yes I did. My dealer "claimed" that Jaguar wants a 10k deposit and I laughed at that. I know dealerships want deposits but the factory? He is having it built without the deposit and I have first right of refusal. The car will sell no matter what so if I pass on it, its someone else's gain. I just got a Ferrari 458 so my desires for the P7 have diminished.

Congrats on the 458 Vic. Classic Rosso Corsa with those wheels looks fantastic. Did you buy privately or from a dealer?

Thanks.

I got it from a dealer, here in the OC- 1800 miles 2014 with about 29 months left on the warranty and of course the free 7 year maintenance plan.

Car came with the Novitec parts: wheels, springs, front lip, rear lip; and a fawking loud a$$ Capristo exhaust.

Beautiful! I assume you got this at Ferrari of Newport Beach. I have been there many times drooling in the showroom. I could live there!

I think you should vinyl it white to match your fleet. You could leave some red bits exposed, could look cool

3 cars and 2 cars--- the BS and the R8 reside at house 2. I dont have actual pictures of the garage because thats the one thing I have not pimped out. I keep thinking about doing the floors, adding in TV's, etc but in Cali its just too hot to hang in a garage LOL.

I believe the Project 7 is not just an open car. The Harry's Garage review video posted above includes an explanation of how the roof will attach on the production cars.

There is no roof, just a bimini cover that if you get caught in rain you can cover youself (somewhat)

This is what the order sheet says.

"Unique ‘Bimini’ style, completely removable, clip-on convertible top"

The project 7 only option is color. The optional colors are $10,000 CDN

 Choice of two standard colours: Glacier White (a new metallic white) and Ultra Blue (a new metallic French Racing Blue, exclusive to SVO vehicles)
 Three optional colours: British Racing Green, Ultimate Black, and Caldera Red (a new solid red)
 Other than colour there will be no options available on Project 7 – all cars will be a single specification
