I got an F-type R up to 165mph on the straight mile at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, UK. That was slightly uphill, at the 3/4 mile marker (the corner at the end arrives very quickly at that speed).

It looks like it took the guy in the video about a minute to hit top speed. Crazy! 194 is fast.

The pro driver who took me on the 2 mile "bowl" got it up to 180 - that seemed quite quick

Awesome car, the F-type R coupe - a real hooligan.

Based on personal experience, it does 0-110 faster than the salesman believed was possible. Who cares about top speed…

Yeah I don't really care for top speed. I am all about acceleration. It is very hard for me to believe (in a very good way) the 0-60 etc numbers that car reviewers are getting! Sub 4 seconds!? Dang!
