Has anyone running 17mm spacers with OEM 295 tires had any issues with rubbing?
Best of luck and I hope it'll work, but at close to full compression it'll rub.
Unless the manipulation consists of cutting a fair amount of the lip off, but be advised that there is a another thicker lip under what you can see there, if you stick your finger in there you can feel it.

Well aware of the inner wheel housing... the individual doing the work is a factory certified aluminum craftsman with decades of experience restoring Jags and Aston Martins.

I had problems with the 305s and 15mm, but already much closer to the bottom of the travel with the H&R drop. The right choice for 305s is 10 or 12 mm.

I wonder if its not worth the headache and leaving it stock, or wait until I burn through the 305's and go back to 295's and that's even if I keep the car that long. I just replaced the tires about 200 miles ago.

I fitted 17s with stock 295s and have had no issues whatsoever. Drivers of low slung cars become accustomed to looking out for potholes and never go offroading so achieving full compression is a very rare event. Yes there might be a unexpected dip in the road and if travelling at sufficient speed, you could achieve full compression but I haven't had it happen yet, thankfully.

In any case, I'm now selling up and returning the car to stock to the spacers are up for sale on here to anyone that might be interested - https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/p...0/#post1752449

Here is 305s with 10mm spacers on VAP springs. Based on my estimations a 13mm would be perfect. 15mm looks doable but according to Unhingd 15mm is a no go.

305s and 15mm, definitely a no go.

Was the 10 mm a spacer or wheel adapter?
