Default F Type S Wheel Specs

Hi all,

I've tried doing some research throughout the forums but haven't really hammered out an answer.

I have a '16 S AWD currently with the 19" Volution rims on it. I'm looking to go to 20" rims with 305's in the rear and 265's up front. I see a lot of comments about the size and offsets of the R's, but I wasn't sure if the S's also had the same fitment.

I was planning on 9.5" and 11" width to accommodate these tires, but I wasn't sure of the ideal offsets and if this would pose any issues in the S wheel wells. I obviously would like to reduce the fender overhang without any chance for rubbing, though I don't plan on any lowering at this time.

Lastly, I really like the look of the Centrifuge wheel, but they obviously only come in 19". If anyone has a recommendation for a similar 20" rim, I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

Everything about wheel and tyre sizes, widths, offsets etc etc that applies to the R also applies to the S, the suspension, hubs, front brakes, wheel wells etc are identical.
The only difference is the MY2021 R which adopted the suspension and tyres from the old SVR and hence is different to the MY2021 S.

I've been waiting for an aftermarket 20" rim that matches the look of my Centrifuges. The VelocityAP project may provide them, but they're currently stalled on the manufacturer side. Lance (Unhinged) has posted specs that he has arrived at through actual testing, although those apply best to the wheel design he has.

Thanks to both of you. It is a bit frustrating that I can't find anything quite like the Centrifuges. The Rohana RFX5 is close but not exactly what I'm looking for. The hunt continues.

For 9.5" front and 11" rears, what are the idea offsets? According to Unhinged's post on the Group buy, he suggests 49mm on the front and 32mm on the back (without any spacers). Is that what most people are looking for to clean up the fender gap?

I special ordered my car, and chose Centrifuges because I didn't want radial spokes and wanted to stay at 19". Now, I'm waiting for the VelocityAP wheels to get through the development phase. The consensus on those is 20" sized for a more flush fit and compatible with lowering springs. The style they're doing first is close to the Centrifuge than others that have come out. There's a thread here on them.

https://www.bcforged-na.com/monoblock/; The KL31 and a few others have similar looks. These are forged, so much lighter then oem and more expensive than flow forged or cast wheels. Unhinged certainly had the knowledge and threads on his specs for 20" wheels on an S. This company will guarantee the fit.
