I was fortunate enough to find my "unicorn" a month or so ago. I didn't think the SVRs were available in BRG in 2019, so when I saw it, i got it.. I did not think of how rare it might be until I saw a very similar one, but a coupe, in Vail Magazine win 1st place in a car show. I am wondering if that is FeralCat's car. Does any one know how many BRG SVRs there are?

Very nice Vert BRG SVR Marker. You are correct that BRG SVR's are quite rare. Only two BRG SVR Coupes in 2018 and the two are spec'd very differently - one has no wing and is missing some of the factory options. Yeah, that was my BRG SVR in Vail. It has won First Place "Best Of Class" at the Vail Concourse in years 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023. Ftyperegistry has a Thread "F-Type SVR Production Numbers and More" https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...0/#post2362441 It's a long thread but well worth the read to get factual build numbers...
I want to buy an SVR convertible and found this one with just 8100 km on the clock: SAJDA5BE9JCK45546 in Corris Grey with CCB. The SVR was produced for South Korea (should be MY18) and came to Germany in 2021. It has the LED headlights and the light magnesium performance seats. What makes me a little bit skeptical is that is has the old InControl Nav with buttons instead of the new one.
Can you tell me more about this car? And can you tell me how much SVR convertible with Facelift were produced worldwide in 2018 and in 2019?
And what was the price for this completely new in EUR?
It's definitely MY18, the J in position 10 of the VIN tells you that. The switch to the 10" buttonless screen occurred partway through the MY (mine has the 8" screen with buttons that I really like) so yours is likely an early MY18 - mine's JCK49xxx and was built late March 2017.

Well, last month I decided to bite the bullet and do the entire car in PPF and then ceramic coating and I couldn't be happier! I know there are very varied options on both PPF and ceramic coatings but after reading a lot of information and visiting 3 different detail shops I decided the pros outweighed the cons.
Many years ago I had a black car and I swore I would never have another because I hated the paint swirl. Then I saw this 2017 SVR for sale and I fell in love. The original owner had had a paint protector applied and as a result the paint was still near perfect and that was a selling point for me. Now that I've owned the car for 10 months I've fallen completely in love and I don't think I will ever sell her so investing in a little extra money in protection to ensure the paint remains like new (along with hand washing) wasn't that hard a decision. The car literally looks like it just came off the production line!
Everytime I go for a drive I come home with a sore face from all the grinning I do!!!
I joined the SVR club and added another Jag to the stable of the 1989 XJS black convertible and 2005 XRK JaguarRG Coupe. Now 2017 SVR black Coupe. Here's the VIN for any fun facts anyone might have SAJWJ6J87HMK42840
Hello all,
I am a new member to the forum so please excuse any faux Pais I may make.
My father bought a 2019 F type SVR new from Jaguar as a custom build and had it shipped to New Zealand. Jaguar described it as 2019.5 as he ordered a 2019 but then a delay meant it had some features of the 2020 by the time it arrived in little old New Zealand. Could you please shed light on which year it should technically be considered? Also some of the specs are;
- bosphorous grey exterior
- full red leather interior
- convertible
@scm. It was ordered through Jaguar Auckland in late 2018 and due to arrive January 2019. This was actually delayed until May 2019 due to logistics.
I suspect it is a MY19 and Jaguar wanted to make it sound more exclusive than a MY19 maybe? It was suggested some 2020 features had been incorporated- namely the central display unit. Anyway I'm not entirely sure about that aspect but was hoping @Ftyperegistry could shed some light on the build numbers and specs of NZ and perhaps Austrlian units if that info was available.
Digit 10 of the VIN denotes the MY, but as it's a single character (K for MY19) there's no way to mark a half year update. MY18s had a part year update, too (8" to 10" info screen among possiby other things).
Here's a pic. Any additional information about it from the VIN? SAJWJ6J87HMK42840
I was looking for BRG, black, or possibly white with tan interior. When this came up, it fit the bill. When I was looking, I was surprised to see a fair amount of these that were for sale were not treated great. I came across a few that were dented, beat up, and just not very clean or well taken care of. Pretty sad for such rare cats.
I am thinking this one was an executive car, as it had about 6K miles when sold, but the VIN is after most of the press cars. Not sure about that though, just my impression from reading this forum. It did have a minor accident from the owner before the owner I purchased this one from, but the airbags didn't deploy and my untrained eye doesn't see any sign of it.

The SVR that's for sale nearest to my location currently has an asking price of 77k CAD (56k USD).
Seems like a screaming deal to me, however it does seem to be one of these used & abused examples. For starters, the wheels don't match front/back, and the rims are scratched up awfully
The F-Type SVR is a rather brash car (and I mean that in a good way), consequently some of these cars have ended up attracting a type of person who perhaps isn't the best at taking care of their toys...

I would not let scratched rims stop you from buying it. I had a scratched wheel fixed and it now can't be told from new. It only cost me $125 back in 2020. Most dealerships have a guy that stops in upon request to repair wheels.

I think his point was less about scratched rims and more about what they may say about the previous owner's care and (ab)use of the car.
