Factory tour (vip style)
Well as most of you know my buying experience and handover of my coupe R didnt go so well but lets not get into that (boring lol)
So i got an invite from the production manager at the factory to have a tour with him after he read my email, they also said they would take my car and any problems that the dealer hadnt sorted they would there and then!
So turned up at the visitors center to be told oh no Mr bolson your in the wrong place your expected actually in the factory, so drove to security, got passes etc and told where to go.
In we drove to the birth place of my car, the place is teaming with lorrys and forklift trucks with bodyparts and god knows what else.
So we parked up and made our way (took the other half) to the HR center, where we we're met by Julia, Marks pa, offered a tea and a chair whilst we waited, whilst we we're waiting a french chap came into the office who we we're introduced to and he was the production ceo and even he had heard about my car and the problems with it
So Mark turned up with the Ftype factory manager and we had a good chat and they went over some slides about the history, the factory and production etc so all very informative and a bit unexpected to be honest.
So after that we went out to the car where we we're met by even more people, there paint specilist guy and one of there line managers, pionted out the problems ie panel gaps and the drivers wing mirror being a diffrent shade of orange, the paint guy had a swatch with him and the colour was completely different, which he put down to it not having enough paint on!!
Luckily they had one other firesand in the factory which was due to go to china and they would take the wing mirror off of that, so the car disappeared off into the belly of the beast to be fettled and we got an awesome tour by Mark and the factory manager, we got shown things and got taken places a normal factory tour would never go
At the end of it they laid on drinks and sandwiches oh and the car is now perfect, i feel that Jaguar pulled out all the stops and im now one happy bunny
If any of you get a chance i would definately say try and do the the tour, its pretty amazing.
p.s sorry about my grammer

I had a really great experience on the regular tour but yours is just beyond compare. That's the type of service that will keep people coming back to the brand.
Glad you got your car sorted!
