Default Fender Mud Guards

Has anyone used these? I could care less if they are carbon or not.

Jaguar F Type Carbon Fiber Mud Guards | eBay
I'm tired of all the sling that ends up on the side skirt and door. It doesn't help that my car is white and have the 20" Cyclone wheels, but Jaguar should have included front mud guards similar to what they have in the rear.

On my Audi Q5, when we went for the 20" wheels the front and rear have the Mud guards around the wheel arch to minimize this.

Not yet but they were supposed to be here last Thursday. I also didn't care if they were carbon; I thought the factory rear ones were a great idea and wanted something similar on the front. I also have a white car with 20" wheels....

I'll let you know what I think; they should be here any time now.

Nice, let me know if they make any difference with the splatter.

Will do; though they certainly can't hurt! :-)

growing real tired of stone chips along side panels after every drive

in for mounted pics from the reverse side

can spray paint them with that rubberised crinkle finish to better match the rears

Looks like something worth looking into. Unfortunately, the vendor appears to be a bit sketchy as it has one of the lowest "positive ratings" I've ever seen: 70%! Not surprising that the guards didn't show up as expected.

Not a bad thought.

Now one thing i recently learned was that my FTYPE seems to throw off the real tires, a lot of the road stones etc on following cars. I never thought about it before as Ive never actually been driving behind it. A friend of mine says it really kicked up a lot of road splatter (mostly remnants of the winter highway de-icing materials) and really peppered his car. thankfully he owns a beat up piece if S&*t and he didn't care, but someone else will. are their larger rear mud guards available ?

Yep, that's what I'm thinking, or wrapping them.

True, but at least it's with eBay which tends to favor buyers when things don't go as planned.

I wouldn't worry about our rear mud guards since damage wouldn't be on our cars

However it is not just our cars with that problem. When I follow my cousin in his GTR, that thing would throw up rocks like no other. I have him to thank for my first rock chip on my windshield.

they were cheap enough for me to be comfortable with the risk; I've paid way more for stuff I couldn't use from E-Bay! haha...

+1. eBay has come through for me a couple times when the product either didn't show up or a piece of crap arrived and the vendor failed to respond.

Let us know how they attach and how easily they can be removed, please.

Will do; assuming they arrive. I'm emailing them now.

No response to my email; I just sent a message through E-Bay "did not receive item" so we'll see if that helps.....if not I'll just get a refund.

dunno guys...looks pretty reputable with that junker el camino in the background of the seller's photos!

edit: aw boo, can't see the photos any longer because the auction is closed...but it was a sight to behold.

Well, no guards and no response from the seller since this message on March 15th;

Thanka for your order! I'll have your order shipped within a day or two max!

E bay has refunded my Paypal. Unfortunately it would appear that this is a dead end. I haven't seen anything similar out there so I may see about making my own.....probably use some cheapy/generic (to get the right, relatively thin material) mud guards from Wallmart or someplace similar and cut down.

At least you got your money back Dave. Let us know how the homemade guards go and post some pics.
