Arrow A few q's about my new F-type

Hi All,

My first post here!
Just picked up my new (to me) F-Type V8S. I love it so far and can't wait to start disassembling it!
Anyway, I have a few q's:
1) Is there a way to retrieve the radio code before disconnecting the battery?
2) Any quick & dirty ways to boost performance? SC pulleys and tune and??
3) I saw a post with P/N's for the 3 plastic parts under the front bumper - the ones that get scraped up if you get too close to a parking curb. Now I can't find the post. Can someone link it, or provide a link to a parts diagram?

Thanx in Advance - I plan to be around a while!

Congrats!! Enjoy the car. Post pictures
Have you done a fresh set of fluid changes?

On 1) - there isn't a radio code. Those went away years ago when radios became more integrated into the car systems. If you unplug battery you will need to rest clock and the window stop limits (see user manual or here on forum). V quick and easy

Happy motoring!!

1.) Answered
2.) Crank Pulley, VAP Tune, 200 Cell Cats/Downpipe, SC Pulley is a pain and does not gain you much
3.) C2P22211, T2R4160, C2P22212 - Unless you have Ceramic Brakes

Thanks everyone!
Re the "wind deflectors": Mine are pretty scraped up so I took them off to clean them up a bit. The plan is too sand out the scrapes, spray them satin black and re-install.
Anyway, they don't seem to serve much purpose - any harm in just removing them?

1. Don't bother painting. No one will notice the difference. Just trim off the streamers with a sharp knife.
2. For me they are quite valuable. They serve as pavement feelers to prevent you from doing damage to the more expensive parts above them.
