Oldish thread but this video from Nick Murray may be of interest.

I went from a string of Corvettes to my F-Type. As I have said before, this is my favorite car I have had the pleasure to own...but after I see the bill from today's scheduled 36k mile service, that might change. There could be a Vette back in my near future...

refresh my memory; what expensive work is required at 36K? .....so far I have been VERY pleasantly surprised and haven't paid more than a $300.00 on any visit to the dealership.

....and I'm noticing a trend; us V8S owners are usually pretty happy with their cars! :-)

Cheers,
Dave

Change the pollen filter @ 32K, in addition to standard maintenance. Brakes are flushed the 3rd year.

$190 out the door...so I am VERY pleased. Apparently there is an O2 sensor replacement bulletin on these '14 V8s. I have to make an appointment for that when I can leave her so she can cool down before being replaced, but everything checked out fine and she got a clean bill of health.

In my experience Vettes are more desirable from the outside than the inside. I lusted after a '62 Vette in my college years until I drove one. There was no comfortable driving position. After that I thought the C4 was light and graceful in appearance. Still do. I would buy a green one just to have in the garage. The C7 looks like a cartoonmobile to me, and they are as common as Camrys.
