Any lift is better than no lift at all. My friend has one of the QuickJacks, can't remember what model, but it was a game changer for him. Specially at a fraction of what the MaxJax is going for now. I bought my MaxJax new when it came out. It was via a group by for those that wanted to be the first users. For only US$1,500.00 with free shipping, it is the best money I have spent on anything.

But at US$5,687.70 now shipped, gulp, I am not sure I would do it.

Reason why I am thinking if I should sell it and get the four-post... or just keep it for its ability to be moved around and bolted in different places... and then get the four post to keep in one of the bays.

I recently replaced the seals in the MaxJax bottles... good for many more years of use.

The whole point of the TLX is to give another 3 to 4 inches of height/room. You’d be surprised how much of a difference that makes for space and comfort over the standard model. It’s pretty good.

There’s also space considerations. Much better with a Quickjack in an average garage by my estimation. Wheel them off to the corner, or even better hang them on the wall completely out of the way.

Also, once you are familiar the Quickjack is, well, quick ;-0

To each their own. I was looking for something extremely safe and effective for a reasonable cost. I don’t know anything that beats it on balance frankly. My opinion only at the end of the day.

Can’t recommend them enough.

As for your comments on the buttons, I guess you are referring to the discussion in that other thread?
yup to each their own, not trying to invalidate your life choices lol - personally the quickjack doesnt offer enough for me to spend the money, would rather just invest in something that gets me a significant height over jacks and stands. That's just me I have been looking at these lately:

and yeah sorry busy day today and getting my threads mixed up!

Wow no idea maxjax's had increased that much. I picked mine up for 2k at the time for 400 more than the quick jacks it was a no brainer. Nose around the resale sites, FB marketplace, ebay, etc. lots of times there are freight returns or damaged in shipping. FYI there is no way unless they literally fell off the truck on the highway to damage these things. Now back to first things to get.
A good work light with hooks/clamps since these things are aluminum.

Thank you everyone! I've already got my oil, that motivx wrench on order, and a full suite of hand tools from other uses. Looking into who makes good filters for oil/air/cabin next.

These lists are great! I look forward to grabbing a diagnostic tool, a lift, and a bunch of the other things have that mentioned.

As DMeister said, for anyone considering Quickjack the 'TLX' version is the way to go. Last year I purchased the 6000TL which are just about long enough to lift using the rear (3 bolt area) lifting points. and front diagonal cross braces. I've just purchased the TLX extensions which will now allow me to lift via the specified metal sill area on the front chassis, instead of the cross braces.
