My SVR has full front carbon fiber spoiler along with CF side spoilers. I know sooner or later I am going to damage these while parking and with the lack of Jaguar parts want to avoid this at all costs. Has anyone used a wireless camera/Bluetooth or similar? Any ideas or recommendations? Image projected to a phone is fine or however.

I hooked up a wired camera to my UAD head unit. Works great. See link in my sig if interested.

 

Does your car not have the front parking sensors? A camera would be useful, agreed. But I find that the sensors on mine give pleanty of warning of obstructions.

 

Not for a scrape on a parking lot concrete pad or high sidewalk. Experience talking here....

 

I had a front camera installed that displays on the infotainment screen. Activated by pressing the Home button for 2 seconds. No need to play with my phone.

Works well, but the angle of view is not wide enough to see the full width of the car when you get within a couple of feet of something. In other words, you see a parking curb off to the side as you approach it, but if it is not centered it may disappear off the side of the screen when you get within maybe 2 feet. So, you have to remember it is there. A wider angle camera would still show it, but it would make everything appear further away. Pick your poison on that.

 

It does and they work well except if I am approaching low sidewalks in front of shops.
