Default Good lease deal for a SVR or no?

Fellow Jag enthusiasts!

I'm about to close on a deal this Saturday on a lease for a 2017 SVR, is this is a good deal and should I jump on it or no? Details below:

MSRP: $130,824
Term: 36 months
Mileage: 10,000
Residual: .52
Total money down (including taxes, fees, etc) : $5000
Trade in value: $4500

Monthly Lease Payment: $1,250

Any feedback would be appreciated!!!

I would say that this isn't great deal. As a rule of thumb, good lease deals should follow the 1% rule, so your total monthly payment should be around $1300.

Assuming you put $2500 down (leaving the other $2500 to cover the taxes, fees, etc.) and the trade in of $4500 means that you add $7000 to the total cost of the lease or $194/month. Your effective lease rate is $1444 which is a bit high.

Another way to think about it, is that the total price of your lease is $54,500 (that includes all the taxes and fees). Since in the lease you are paying for depreciation, that is a lot of depreciation! You can buy an almost new F-Type R for $70-$80k and put a tune and exhaust on it.

Paying MSRP on 2017 is bridge too far when 2018 is redesign year. You should expect at least $10,000 discount + running offers to take one off the lot, some got even bigger discounts on SVRs.

Current offers:

To me, this doesn't look like a good offer.

not good.
My friend was quoted $1300 (with tax)+drive offs ($1700 total, including 1st payment I think) on a white SVR in Chicago. 10K miles/year.
