GPF Problems?
On a 2019 FType P380 AWD I have an engine management light. When I scan the code it comes back with P226D. I checked an error code manual and it says this code is reserved (so no error explanations)
the code scanned comes back with Manufacturer Control.
A general google of this error code brings back DPF filer issues for diesel cars. Is it possible that this relates to the GPF?
the car does mainly do short journeys so I’m suspecting a large bill! Any insight would be great.

I am guessing your UK warranty has expired - in US it is 5 years.
However, in US there is a universal warranty on certain emissions components including cats which are warranted for 8 years/80k miles, in addition the overall car warranty.
My point is, you might want to check whether the GPF might fall under a similar extended coverage in UK.
Good luck with getting it sorted.
