Did you have a chance to pull off the SVR wheels to see what spacers you can technically get away with?

Hi there! I am the guy who bought your Gyrodynes of Ebay! Did you go with the 17mm from motorsport tech? If so do you have any pics and are you happy with them? I am talking to them right now about getting a set. But for some reason they quoted me $285 instead of $245......

There may be as many a 100 F-Type owners who have purchased Spacers from Motorsport Tech thru this forum, and I don't know of anyone who has not been thrilled with the quality of the product and/or the fitment to our vehicles.
The size spacer you settle on will depend on what wheels and tires you ultimately settle on. I'm running 17mm spacers on the front with Jaguar wheels and factory sized 255/35 PS4S Michelin tires. On the back however, I'm running 10mm wider than factory 305/30's with 15mm spacers.

Most are running the same spacers front and rear, but this set-up works without problem and I really like the wider tires on the rear. Even though its only a few mm, they look like they're an inch wider, especially when spaced out flush with the top of the wheel arch...

Iron Mike, I completely agree with you and I think the 305s do add a lot. Not to mention that slight bit of protection around the lip. I may just have to copy your set up when it's time to replace the rear tires! I'll be rolling on the stock gyrodynes for the time I have the car most likely.

I also have a set. Lightly used, I bought and just never got around to putting them on and the car goes back in 6 months. 17mm. Once Eshin sells his, I can send to anyone else who is interested.

I know you all know this but I wanted to note that Lenny chased after me when he didn’t have too making sure he made the correct spacers for me. Stand up guy! Much appreciated Lenny. Great to have committed suppliers in our court.

Before I order a set of 17mm spacers, does anyone have a set in need of a good home?

Am I correct that ac17mm spacer won’t require grinding of the bolts for clearance? Any fitment issue with particular factory wheels?

For clarification this Is for a 2015 F-Type with 19” Centrifuge wheels.

Thanks!

No grinding should be required with 17 mm adapter’s, but I would place some Plastigage (thinnest available) on the end of a couple of the studs just to make certain.

Default Storm wheels

I don’t believe anyone ever answered this question after reading entire thread... Do the 15mm spacer adaptors fit the OEM Storm wheels (standard for CCB’s) without grinding the studs?? Or do I have to order the 17mm spacers? Thank you in advance.

Hey everyone,

I'm going to order the spacers and just want to make sure I'm getting the correct ones. I'm going with the 17mm but wanted to confirm I should get the 'Design3' that has the pressed in studs with lug nuts attached?

Also, will I need any other hardware to install these?

Thanks!

Also, follow up question; has anyone staggered the spacer sizes? Wondering if 17mm front and 19mm rear would work. If possible, would the 19mm require any modification to fit appropriately?
