I am tempted by gadtuning who suggest they can remap so it is similar to v8r I've extra 50bhp with no reliability issues. Thanks guys for any responses. Jim

Yes, it is possible, as even later years F-types Jaguar factory-tuned V8s for more power. F-type R and your V8S have the same engine but a different rune.

However, tuning should be done by someone with specific experience in your car. It is too easy to botch it and grenade the engine.

Please ask around and only use reputable tuners with a proven track record and ones that can provide dyno charts showing effects of their tune.

Hi Jim,

Our Dealer David Appleyby Engineering in Banbury can offer VelocityAP tunes. If you just want 'R' or 'SVR' settings, that's 100% possible, but our regular V8 tunes will get you to 605BHP!
