have not seem many f types o he road
I drive every day and have seen only one f type , well two if we count the white one that belongs to sierra view cc . did see a blk f type last week in sacramento . and three mid engine vetts inside of 30min in auburn ca
Funny you posted this. I’ve seen more F-Types in the past 2 weeks than I did prior...just today, saw 2 v8’s and 1 v6. Last weekend was another 3. Exclusivity is no longer in my part of town. Just surprised so many recently but not really considering they are so affordable.
I saw a white convertible parked in a Waffle House parking lot last month. I stopped to see if it might have been one of my old cars, but no. However, it was driven by a nice looking girl so all was not lost.

I've seen maybe two 2021 models with the new design so far, and I occasionally see 2014-2017 examples (maybe 4 times a year) but I've literally never seen a 2018-2020 with the old-shape-but-new-design headlights.
I live in Northern Nevada, just over the hill from Lake Tahoe. I've had two F-Types since March 2017, an S convertible and now an S coupe. The surrounding area is mostly rural, but within a 75 mile range, population is over 300,000. The nearest JLR dealer is in Reno. This past week, I've seen 4 new Corvettes. Since 2017, I've seen a total of 4 F-Types in the area. My late brother and I took a 21-day, 4,500 mile trip to Texas and back in 2018. We didn't see another F-Type on the trip. Last time I looked, the total number of F-Types sold in the US through 2019 was fewer than 25,000. Chevy sells more Corvettes than that in a year. It's a pretty exclusive club.
I work quite often in Kuwait and have seen more there than I expected to. 4, 6, 8, coupe and convertible. I have not seen an SVR or Project 7, but did see a nice Project 8 though. Most of them are black or white, but did see one Firesand coupe.
Was it a vert? If it was with a temp plate that might have been me. There is a V6 Firesand convertible near me in Lincoln.
I See more Lamborghinis around here than F-Types.
In the north Houston area, I see a few from time to time heading south towards downtown, including another today on the Grand Parkway. However, I can still count on one hand the number in the wild I have seen in the past six months. And I know that the manual is even more rare...
That said, the F-Type is still a more common sight on the road than others with a 124...

It's Location, Location & Location. The Bay Area F Type Owners Facebook page has 77 members and I'm sure that's a small percentage of all F Types around here. Last fall my wife and I went out to dinner with my son and his wife (he drove, so my F Type was in the garage) at the Blackhawk Plaza and I saw 5 F Types scattered around the parking lot so I am pretty sure they where not together. I regularly see F Types driving around these parts. Although there are more Tesla's than anything else?
I was considering a Tesla before my F Type purchase. Still considering it, but in no rush.
We've lived in rural central IL (between Peoria and Bloomington) for about 2 years, and I never expected to see another F-Type without leaving this immediate area. Imagine my surprise, when taking a short drive to get familiar with local roads, I came across another F-Type parked in a driveway about 2 miles away. Since that time, I've seen only 3 others on the road.
