Default Have To Use Max Volume For Bluetooth Phone?

Forgive me for posting this again but there appears to be a problem with recently purchased 2017 R's bluetooth. Specifically, I have to turn the volume to MAX to hear the incoming calls?

The volume for the infotainment system is normal as 20 will blow you out the door. Then when a call comes in, the ring is extremely quite as is the caller.

So, once again I'm hoping for an easy (adjustment) fix or just some feedback.

Thanks in advance...

I've noticed only recently that my turn by turn instructions from Waze are really quiet even though the music also playing via Bluetooth is at a comfortable volume

A couple of places to check IIRC. The Tx and Rx phone volume can be changed somewhere in the info system. Mine has the Rx set to max. Your phone may also have similar adjustments when using Bluetooth.

Have you tried it with other peoples phones to see if it may be specific solely to your phone? Also, have you used any other bluetooth devices with your phone? If so, did those also come across with lower volume?

Nati - Waze volume is adjustable in the app. 65% is usually about correct. I believe 40% is default.

Go to the settings menu. There are preset volume settings for phone, nav and one other thing. Set them how you want them. You can also set the volume for each with the volume knob when they are actively like when the nav gives directions.
