Default Heated steering wheel

I was wondering if anyone else had the heated steering wheel and if so can you tell me does our wheel get hot or just luke warm and how long does the process of heating up take? I have had many cars with heated steering wheels and it just seems this wheel is sub par when it comes to actually warming up. Mine feels luke warm and takes a bit to do so. If the roof is down and you want to warm up a bit the heated seats are killer feel like you can cook on these babies but the wheel not so much. Any input would be welcome. Thank you. BTW no I dont want to cook on my seat or wheel for the comments taht were coming!

I find the heated steering wheel very helpful here in the Northeast. It's pretty quick, noticeable in less than a minute I'd say. Mine is warmest in the 9 o'clock-3 o'clock position (just above the paddle shifters), but a bit less warm in the 10-2 position that I prefer. Not hot, just warm. Gets a bit less warm after a while, maybe lukewarm. But helpful nonetheless.

yes very helpful in the northeast and I seem to have the same results as you so I guess mine is operating as normal. Thank you for the confirmation.

I had mine on this AM when the temp dropped below 60... It takes longer than usual to warm up and is the most warm on the top of the steering wheel. Compared to my XJ which burned my hands if I held them there, this one is much more moderate. Maybe that was intentional to only have it 'warm' the steering wheel in certain positions.
