Default Hi - new owner of FType In Aus

Hi all! I have just joined from the South Coast of New South Wales and have acquired a 2017 FType R. I switched over from a Porsche 718 and got to say I am impressed. I am getting my head aorund everything and I suspect need help along the way. Great to see a strong community here.

Welcome aboard my friend. Great looking example. I find the white looks particularly good with black wheels. You did well to get that, looks very clean. How many Kms?

It would be interesting to hear your impressions of this car compared to the 718. Very different beasts. What prompted the change away from the Porsche?

Thanks. I have always loved white cars and am drawn to them. I'm also usually not a fan of black wheels but in this case I think it really suits the car given the black accents.

I was actually looking for a manual Cayman and missed out on one, couldn't do a deal on another one and then started thinking about other choices. When I bought the 718 i was also weighing up going with a F-Type.. I loved the Porsche but just got a little bit bored with it and felt the need for a change. A change for the better I think

I can assure you that you're going to love it! I've had my SVR for 7 years and it's still a lot of fun driving it...
