Wow! Thanks for the additional background. I wonder of the OP is wondering about what kind of miles (quality or misery) or just miles.

Thanks!

Mine is getting its 60K end of warranty checkup...mostly trouble free once the Gen 1 clutch was replaced, although there are a couple of things being done before the warranty ended. And we are still sorting the shifter vibration on decel in a specific range (gear did not matter...it had expanded to the 1800-2K RPM range).

It isn't quite the daily driver, but I have put all but about 300 miles on it. The balance of the miles are largely shared between the X-Type and the XK8.

I got mine 2 months ago and went from 44k to just over 50k... I like to drive A LOT and plan on getting this up to 200k.

I have a 2012 Range Rover Sport supercharged V8 and did a lot of work to it, got it up to around 700 HP and threw on some big a$$ tires. I bought it with 50k and drove it hard until it hit 177k. The JLR V8 is known to have issues but if you take care of it, it will last. The cooling systems in these cars seem to breakdown because of the crappy plastic/rubber parts so I used Evans Waterless coolant and I think that helped keep the pressure lower so less wear. I always let my engine warm up and cool down before driving or shutting down, a must for any car but even more so for a high performance car. I used Lucas fuel injector cleaner occasionally, octane booster, cataclean, and water remover with big temp changes. I had to change part of the air suspension which cost me $2600 but other than that it was just regular tune ups, maintenance and replacing parts as they wore out but nothing major.

Good luck and hope you break 200k.

High miles (IMHO) should be worn as a badge of honor - especially if you're the one who put the miles on the car and you're taking good care of it. Also trying to gauge build quality. The way things are made today, quality of materials (drive-train) and applying advanced engineering and materials to these cars - who knows how long they'll run. My '64 MGB has nearly 200k mi and runs like a champ.

Anyone care to share?

My number is 39k, but I've only owned the car for one-full-day.

Let me know!

I bought it at 30k KMs, and I been driving it since then.
Although I can’t tell you how much I love this car, but there are some problems going on as the miles keep accumulating. My left side door keyless entering is off, my steering makes clicking noises when turning (especially in low speeds), my sun roof cover jammed and required significant amount of force to pull, my central&real transfer case leaking oil (which caused the all wheel drive system failed occasionally and making huge noise on the corny left side when going low speed about 10-13km/h) and soooo much on…..
If my math is correct then adding up the cost(parts&labour) would be around little less than 35k CAD to fix them all.
It’s a pain in the ***, and it’s really shame because I really like this car, the style and the attitude. However, maybe it’s the time to move on

I'm close to 89k now with my V8s. Been putting more miles on it since I now have the velocity cats/exhaust. Love the sound it makes so I drive it every chance I get😅

For those still under warranty (or even if not) have your differential checked for leaks. My pinion seal leaked around 28-30k miles. The sunroof is a known item, not sure if temperature causes it, but was replaced while nearing the end of warranty..

75K miles, just as much fun as it was when I took delivery in 2013. It’s been stored every winter.

The car has been in:
MA, ME, NH, VT, NY, OH, PA, IN, MI, IL, IA, NE, WY, MN, WI, CT, NJ, MD, DE, NC, SC, Ontario.

I have about 13,500 on the car and it needs to be driven. Hopefully with it cooling off a bit more in AZ she will come out more often. I just got it back from the body shop and ceramic coating shop. Washing it I had a boxspring in my garage tip over and graze the side of the car. Needed to get painted and re-PPF and ceramic coating. Gone for 6 weeks for a little scratch-it is crazy places are that backed up lately.

138k. Ok, I'm cheating. Even at only 3-4k per year, it adds up since I got her in 1982.

mine is probably the highest milage here. 100K Miles (160,000KM).
Had tons of issues, but all fixed under warranty, and the car is still under warranty:
-Steering column replaced (ticking noises while steering was going up and down)
-ZF8 changed, because there was an issues that JLR couldn't put their fingers on
-Differential replaced (grinding issues)
-Rear drive shaft replaced
-Supercharge rattles, I think they replaced the housing for that
-Coolant low issues, pipe or radiator replaced, dont know which tbh...
-AC motor replaced, car was making a noise while switching on/off ac
-Cluster changed, it had some humidity inside
-Exhaust changed, due to valve issues
-Catalysts converter changed
-Side mirrors dimming stopped working, so they had to redo wiring
-Engine mounts and bushes changed due to clicking noises while turning steering wheel
-roof outliner fell, and did not get this fixed yet, and it is not covered under warranty

I dont know if I missed anything...but let me tell you something, this car is a money pit, and is not worth getting without warranty
I am considering getting rid of the car very soon, and get something perhaps a tad bit more reliable, maybe an LC500 or a Porsche
