In the 6 years since I posted that (yes, it's an old thread), I've gotten it up to 73k miles. It's been stored every winter elsewhere, as my tractor with snowblower takes up that half of the garage.

Forgot I posted in this thread years ago... Several years later, I'm at just a bit over 18,000.

Purchased February 2021, registered March, present mileage 4,000+
Soon to be 6,000 after 2K road trip to Canada next week.
Expecting close to 8K or 9K by the time it gets its annual service (oil) in February.
I plan to drive it a lot then sell it before the warranty expires.
This car is too much fun to leave in the garage.

2015 R, 10,500mi

wow, such low mileage on most. I guess I have no right to talk.

any reasons why everyone is keeping the miles low? Weekend toy? Not a daily? Resell?

the car isn’t appreciating in value and it’s not a collector (in my opinion)

Also 2015 R, 28,700 miles. Just picked mine up though.

Agree its not necessarily a collector car, but I believe that the RWD will be sought after eventually.

Mine is a weekend car, so miles will stay low. Also purchased with a 5 year warranty, so I plan to get rid of it with ~2 years left to help with the resale value and incentive.

It's a six year old thread. Most of the responses are from 2015 before this was revived today.

I bought my 2016 R in November last year with 11,800 miles and now I have only 13,400 on her. I will be lucky to hit 2,000 miles this year and no excuse since I live in AZ. I love the car but don't do much so its mostly to/from work and I drive my SUV for that. I don't plan on selling her so it is fine on the amount of miles I put on it.

I expect the same. Wife and I work from home, no kids (yet), and living in San Diego there isnt an excuse to NOT drive it. The V8 sounds like its going the way of the DoDo bird, so Ill either never sell or sell it when my 5 year warranty has only a couple years left on it to incentivize buyers.

I have just over 22,000 miles on mine. I work from home and will go days without leaving the house. Road trips are the excitement for me. Just this last weekend I drove down to Cambria (central coast of California) and as I pulled into the hotel, I hit 22,222. As a side note, I was able to fit the weekend bags for my fiancé and I as well as two cases of wine in the trunk under the parcel shelf. Usually, before a trip, I take out the parcel shelf and the floor shelf so I have more room. I completely forgot this time and was still able to tetris everything in.

Gas was something like $4.80 and I managed around 27 mph on I-5 with the cruise control set at 83.

Just returned home last weekend from a ~3600 mile road trip and my '16 now sits at ~67K miles. All but a few hundred of those have been put on by me since buying it in October of 2017.

No problems, no indication of excess oil consumption. No tickets, no accidents, no flats.

Had some fun on Arizona backroads coming home from Vegas (US89A as well as AZ191). Did not realize when I mapped out the drive that AZ191 was part of the old Route 666/Devil's Highway. And with how things played out that day, I wound up making that drive at night...not a single other vehicle for 120 or so miles...but I want to go back and do it again in daylight

For the trip, I managed about 25.5 MPG and that is with more than a thousand miles running close to 90 MPH, the ~120 miles of twisties and about 100 miles in pouring rain coming home out of El Paso. I learned that the dash reading is consistently about 1 MPG high. This was the first time where I had a real road trip using multiple tanks of premium. Phoenix area into Vegas was actually in the mid-28's (actual). Western states are getting gouged on fuel. North of Vegas, I saw $4.599 and filled a little ways down the road at $4.359. That raised the overall trip average to $3.80...

Never lost Sirius connection, although there were some roads that my GPS didn't believe were there (it has not been updated since I bought the car).

It was a toss-up literally until the morning I left whether I would be taking this one or the '18 Spider. I decided that August in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada with the top down might cook me a little TOO thoroughly. Plus the Spider does not have GPS and I knew cell reception would be sporadic, rendering Google Maps a challenge to rely upon...and also I haven't put many miles on it since acquiring it in May and didn't want to run into an issue in the middle of nowhere in a car that I haven't thoroughly sussed out...

I saw a total of ONE other F-Type...and that was in the valet at Circa (a white convertible). I also only saw one other Spider along the way...also white.
