Has someone said nice maserati, or is that a maserati? At least 3 times already. Then when you tell them its a jaguar they had no idea jag made such a car. Its nice driving such a beauty. Imo the jag and maz both 10's from the front. From the side its no contest jag all the way. From the rear nothing looks as good as the booty on the jag.

Never for me. I agree that the Maser is a 10 from the front, I just can't get over the port holes on the front fenders though, reminds me too much of an old Buick lol. The sound their V8's make though, good lawd!

Never been asked if it's a Maserati, but I've had a few people approach me that had no idea what it is and then give compliments.

I've not had Maser but I have had a few who thought it was a ferrari, more in the context of "I was watching your car coming up and thought it was a ferrari until I realised..." rather than "nice ferrari". I think being red has a bit to do with that.

Agree with OP re Maser, I love the front quarter then it gets progressively odder in proportion, one of the few cars where the 'vert is definitely better proportioned than the coupe.

I've had Ferrari a lot, but never Maserati. Lots of thumbs up on the road and people yelling "great car", but very few actually know what it is.

I've had a couple of "what is that, a Ferrari or Maserati?" but by far the most common reaction I get is from little kids, in the 5 to 12 age group, where they go "Phwoar, look at that car!" Usually to their parents and sometimes to their friends.

Mostly, any comment I hear is "nice car." There it a lot of commonality (pun intended) with the Maserati GT. The size and shape are similar, but the same could be said for some of the Astin Martin line.

I get is that a Maserati? Do you like that car? I get looks when it first starts all the time. My Jag gets complimented a lot. There used to be a lot of F Types around the first couple years but they seemed to have disappeared as the leases ran out. Maserati has a robust used market so in my part of town I see a reasonable amount. They are the king of deprectiation. My loaded '17 Ghibli S is selling in the high 40's, orig msrp in may '17 $89k, bought for $71k. including $12k Maserati money. We like both of our cars!

Never gotten confused for a Maserati, but it snaps necks everywhere I go with it. Have been recorded going by on a phone, kids point at it, almost made someone fall off a picnic table by the road when I went by and it started popping.
