Ingeium Inline 6 cyl petrol and diesel

Looking for current info about the proposed use of Inline 6-cyl petrol and diesel engines to replace the current V-6 petrol and diesel engines in the F-Pace, and other Jaguar models.

I have investigated more about the new inline gas & diesel engines, and they seem to offer significant improvement over the current v-6.
