Default Is the interior carbon fiber trim real?

I've been debating between the carbon fiber or brushed aluminum trim, and from the pictures, the carbon fiber trim looks fake? Can anyone confirm if it is real or fake?

Not real, but I'd say it looks better than the aluminum trim.

edit: You can get real carbon fiber center trim though. I think it runs around 1.5-2k in the states?

I don't know which model or trim level you guys are referring to, but the center dash piece in my SVR is real carbon fiber.

If I'm not wrong, there's only three types of standard interior trim-- Fake Carbon Fiber, a weird aluminum (not brushed?), and a dark brushed aluminum. Real Carbon Fiber is always an option.

I was talking about the Carbon Fiber trim for $750 on the SVR. I didn't realize there were different types. So to confirm, the $750 carbon fiber trim is fake but I can get real carbon fiber trim linked by ek993 installed by the dealership for around $1000 in the USA?

Ah. That one is real and likely the same as the $1000 one.

I think it's more like "who's on first?"
The Reno Jag one is the official product, they just sell stuff for less than the official website...

Noting that it's purely cosmetic (rather than serving a useful structural or weight saving purpose), the only reason to care appears to be the amount that's being charged for it compared to the non-fibre reinforced plastic equivalents.

Yes?

Anyway - I thought our entire universe is the subatomic substrate of the next universe up...
