Default Interior care

What do you all use to care for the inside of your F-Type? I live in US and want to purchase some cleaners and conditioners to keep the leather and dash looking good.

Thanks. John

I've been using the Lexol cleaner and conditioner and it's been great for the interior. It doesn't leave the leather shiny or gross feeling.

Default Differences in seat material

Some of the Fs have a suede-like material in the seats and seat backs. It's called alcantara:

DO NOT USE Lexol or similar cream cleaners on the Alcantara. A regular fabric upholstery cleaner is recommended for stains. I use warm water and a microfiber towel for general cleaning. Nothing but water is consumed in that car.
My preference for interiors is Meguiars products. Vinyl/ rubber # 40 is good for the dash and other panels. It's also good to keep all the weatherstripping seals soft and pliable.

For my 2015 R with leather on dash and seats I use... a damp microfiber towel. That's all.

+1 on Lexol. Leather conditioner (not cleaner unless it needs it) for the leather parts and vinyl conditioner for the non-leather parts.

I’ve done a lot of detailing in my time, and my son has a part time business doing the same while he’s in university. Chemical Guys products are what we keep coming back to. In your case, Inner Clean, and Leather Conditioner would fit the bill. Great products, and instructional videos online for newbies.

Lexol, yes, and Chemical Guys, and Leatherique, but my favourite for Jaguar leather over many years and many Jaguars is AutoGlym Leather Balm. Whatever you do, do NOT use any leather treatment that contains silicones, and many commercial “conditioners” contain silicones. Those mentioned (and there are others) are silicone free.

I have a bit of fading on the seat bolster from rubbing when getting in and out. Any recommendations on black dye to make it match better?

Another vote for Autoglym leather care products. I bought both the cleaner and the conditioner. The cleaner is "just in case", I don't think the leather will ever get very dirty. Well, maybe the steering wheel.
The thing I like about it is that it doesn't have that extremely strong leather smell. I'm very sensitive to chemical odors. I have some Zaino leather care product and while it works well, it left my other cars smelling like a Tijuana leather jacket shop.

303 Aerospace Protectant for vinyl and rubber is my choice. Also works well for boat interiors.
Prefer it for the F-Type for its low sheen.

303 Aerospace is an outstanding product. I also have some of their special formula for weather seals around doors etc. I apply this a couple of times a year on both of my cars:

But to be clear about this: the 303 Aerospace is NOT for leather.

Correct, I use the 303 Aerospace product for things like the dash, plastic door panels and other parts that are not genuine leather. I buy those cheap cellulose kitchen sponges, cut them in smaller pieces and use them as applicators for the 303. Let it soak in for a few minutes and then buff off the excess with a MF towel. Good stuff. If you have any Armor All throw it away and switch to the 303 Aerospace. You'll be pleased.
