Am ...........or was the pround owner of an F-Type that within 3000kms has started to emit some really weird crackling sounds from the speakers...does this intermittently but enough to drive me round the twist!!!!

Wondering if anyone else has encountered this as Jag can't seem to ascertain what the problem is never mind fix it????

Any comments /thoughts greatly appreciated :-)

 

Bad contact in one of the connectors or a cracked circuit board? Does it occur standing still or mostly while driving?

 

Does it come from more than one speaker? A physically damaged speaker cone can also make intermittent crackling sounds.


Also, make sure you try different sources.
