This just doesn’t strike me as credible. First, all of the manufacturers want to expand. Second, 6B just won’t go very far. But if something were to come to pass I would put my bet on Aston Martin. They have been wanting to use the Lagonda label for years and what better place than on a J-AM.

Makes less than zero business sense but a romantic notion to rescue a tottering fringe British marque or two from oblivion. You could add TVR. And why not bring back Alvis too?

Agree. Probably makes the most sense. And the styling, at least between the F-type and AM models is already similar!

Another option though is to go to the very high end. McLaren would be a nice technology-rich addition.

Lotus have been pushed around various owners for the past decade or so. Would be nice for them to land with a company that has vision. Tata turned around JLR so would be nice to see what they could do with Lotus - not sure a manufacturer of lightweight niche sports cars would fit with the brand though.

Take the 6 billion and bring back our XKR's, and a V-12 that can breath.
