I feel exactly like you. The Z06 just looks so much better than the base car for whatever the reason. A good friend of mine has a 2009 Vantage. I absolutely adore his car, and I suspect it had a lot to do with my being drawn to the F-type…Similarish styling without the high price tag and cost of ownership. Personally, as much as I love Aston Martins, I would not want to own one due to the potential exposure to high ownership costs. I’m also not over the moon about the newest iteration of the car in terms of styling. I like the previous generation’s shape better personally.

First, Valerie's Long Beach red vette is stunning ( I am partial to red, inside or out).
I suggest you get an F type that you don't ever want to sell. I bought my '18 svr with just about every option except lighted door sills which I can add. I don't plan on selling as it is a special in many ways and is no longer made. Then get a second car that you can swap out as the fancy strikes (if at all possible, within your means), OR maybe you just need one halo car that you never want to sell (if it's not an F type)/ Jay_Davis's list is a start.
Often you can't stop the itch and the twitch no matter what you get, especially if you have the funds. I'd have 1 or 2 American cars (vette/mustang), one or two Germans, one Italian and one or two Brits. I'd have to sell the house, get divorced and live in the multicar garage with the cars. (I'd miss the wife as she's special too).
