I know I already posted once about this issue, but this time I’ve included a photo to show exactly what I’m talking about.
When I take my 2015 F-Type R through the car wash (touch less), I’ve noticed a leak/drip of water appear behind the headrests on both the driver & passenger side. Please see the photo below.
Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what might be the issue?
That does appear to be more from the window than from the roof - the source of quite a few leaks over on the UK forum (where I linked you to in your other thread). Out of interest, have you checked the bottom of the boot/trunk to make sure that it is dry, just to rule out the leaky trunk liner seals?
IMO, the issue is that the pressure and spray direction in a touchless car wash exceed the real world parameters the seals were intended to resist. Perhaps the question you should be asking instead is "Where else is water being forced in, where it shouldn't get?" Plus, there's always that last layer of grime the touchless doesn't get off....
Damn, thought there was going to be juicy gossip on someone.
To OP, looks like your window seal came apart somewhere. Not common but does happen, go to a auto glass shop. They should be able to take it out and re-seal it.
