Likely I'm no Audiophile, but...
It's an OK sounding system in a premium car. The same system in my wife's Range Rover sounds amazing. In the F-Type, it falls flat.
To put it in perspective, my 2008 Audi S5 had a system that was far superior. It was much, much , much better. My eGold? Much better. Heck, even the XKR had a much better sounding system. Literally all the competitors to the F-Type have systems that sound so much better.

Do you have the upgraded “Surround” version in your car?
Oddly enough for the kind of music I like, I dont think that the top of the line surround sound system in my missus' 2020 XE sounds any better, in fact I think the 380w gives a punchier sound. But then for something where you can really hear the sound moving from speaker to speaker, eg Comfortably Numb, the XE system is far better.
I've been playing around with the settings on my 770w Meridian. FWIW, I have found it depends on what I'm listening to. I'm connecting to my IPhone/Amazon. Some music sound great, some just OK.
In general, I think it's fine, but I'm not an audiophile, many times I never turn it on.
