Received the update yesterday. To go with the retro (aka old) nature of this nav system, the update takes 2h 20m to install, during which time, you can't use the nav system, or anything Bluetooth. Happily, it continues where it left off if you shut of the car. So, I think it will take 2 full round-trip commutes for me, which, including not driving the Jag tomorrow due to rain, will take Tue afternoon to Fri morning for the full update.

Exactly the time it would take you to drive to Brunswick, Maine.

(WTF?! 2 hours, 20 minutes? In this day and age? But you're the computer guy so what do I know?).

Slooow is the technical term. We all know these nav systems are 'old school', to be charitable.
