Anyone else have an MY18 notice that occasionally the pencil type running lights sometimes pulse on and off, I think mine must be faulty as I see it happening on one side at a time, notice it in the reflection of stationary traffic and then it just goes right again on its own

 

Is it possible the daytime running lights are shutting off when you have the turn signal activated?

 

Yep, on the pre-MY18, when you indicate a turn the DRL on that side fades to about 1/3 normal power, so maybe the MY18 does this as well, but in a different way due to the different design of the lights?
At least in Oz this fading of the relevant DRL when indicating is law, under the Australian Design Rules.

 

its not that that I am seeing, i've noticed it when I pull into my garage and they reflect on the back wall also, its a about half second on off pulsing that lasts maybe 5 seconds, too short to get my phone out and film it, i've only noticed when stationary but could be doing it when moving - i'm guessing its a fault but wondered if anyone else had seen the same
