Default Navigation display disappears

I'd appreciate any direction on what I'm missing. I don't often use the navigation system (it's pretty good on the '16) but when I do it runs fine on the central screen but after about a minute or so the navigation display reverts back to the Home Screen and you have to tap Nav to get back there. Anyone help with my ineptness?

Still the best ride I've ever had - what a blast!

Under system settings, you have the timeout set to go back to the home screen. disable the timeout

Yes, but waze has the problem of either using an unattractive cell phone mount or staring at my cup holders while I'm trying to drive.

If Jaguar had offered an option to have Waze or Google Maps as the built in navigation option I'd gladly have spent a few thousand on it.

+1 on Waze, which is the best nav system I've ever used.

I use this Scosche magnetic mount, which is neither conspicuous nor unattractive, in the line of sight, and works great. It's also easily removable if need be.

Oh, hey, that isn't bad looking. How does it attach to your phone? Do you have to mount something on your phone? Do you have to use any adhesive on the dash?

The kit comes with a stick-on metal plate that I put on the back of my phone case. The charging cable can be concealed under the console trim and routed to the charger port in the center console.
