Default navigation screen glare

Does anyone have a solution to eliminate the glare on the navigation screen? When my convertible top is down and the sun is behind me, it is impossibvle to see the screen. Is there a recommended "lid" or film that can be applied to eliminate this problem?

I have the same problem with my 2020. Someone suggested a plastic 'protective' screen. Didn't work. Some sort of shade would be better.

I tried an anti glare protective screen, too. I also found that it did nothing.

It already has a anti-glare on it. The screen is simply not bright enough. I wonder if there is a replacement screen that is brighter and maybe higher resolution.

Get a screen hood. I made one myself for my Audi convertible but there may be some that you can modify for the jag. Could easily create magnetic mount by hot gluing neodymium magnets to the shroud and then some on the back sides of the fascia around the screen or just above . Or attach thin piece of plastic proturding from shroud that you can insert in the gap above the screen.

will obvious need some modding but you get the idea.

Try to place a Polaroid film over it with the transmission axis horizontal [as the screen is a vertical surface]. It should work like Polaroid sunglasses [except the transmission axis is 90 degrees opposite].

Polarizers can do weird things to LCD displays, as LCDs produce polarized light.
