Default New Castro Edge Commercial Features Bad *** F-Type!

It also says to watch the new Fast and Furious movie coming out, so that car must be in the movie.

They probably just recorded a view of the tach when you first switch on the ignition

Yes. You can see the "R" badge, and since there are no manual R's, well, its an automatic.

If you watch closely, they show shots of a hand shifting gears.

It sounds like the V6 sometimes and the R others. Ahhh, the magic of editing...

No, it's just one car for the shoot. It's an R and it's an automatic. The TV spot is a condensed version of that full video.

If you look even more closely, there are R badges all over the car inside and out, the vehicle has 4 exhaust tips and the steering wheel has paddle shifters. Oh also via hood vent location its clearly AWD. They show shots of her using the mono-stable automatic gearshift function, not shifting a stick.

The vehicle in the movie is an R, so i'm sure that's why they went with the R here.

I had a friend take me to F&F 7 and it was the dumbest cartoonish nonsense you could imagine. Which would be fine is it was portrayed as a comedy or parody, but it is not.

I LOVE stupid movies, just not ones that pretend to be serious on any level. It would be better to have then just focus on the Dodge Demon and keep the F-Type out of the promotion or some fart can.

If you like stupid, watch "Collide". Plenty of Jags in it and actually the movie itself was entertaining.

+1. The D at the bottom of the instrument cluster and the missing pedal is a dead giveaway.
