Default New Clutch!!

So I took MY16 V6S 6sp that I have had for 6 months into the dealer on Monday. I've read the thread about the clutch issues and did notice that mine slipped during spirited drives. Especially through the upper gears, 3,4,5. I wasn't too bothered by it, but I decided why not see if my dealer would replace it.

So I dropped off the car on Monday and today my service manager just informed me they are going to replace the clutch and slave cylinder. Very please with the Park Place Jaguar in Plano. They stepped up to the plate without me having to push hard for it.

I know a few of you guys have had it replaced. I was looking for the part numbers again.

Glad to hear this got sorted out. Before I try to find the threads on clutch issues, what is your car's build date and do you recall what build dates are suspect? Mine is 1/16. Haven't noticed much undue clutch slippage though, just a rather high friction point.

Builds after 11/20115 should have pretty much been sorted out. June through September builds are the most suspect. (First 4 months of regular production).

Is it only the V6 S that had this problem? Any V6's out there that needed a clutch?

The problem would have been with all of them. Those with a less aggressive driving style might not really notice the problem, but if testing the 0-60 times, overwhelming burning clutch smell would occur along with massive clutch slippage between 1st & 2nd gears.
