Ahh thanks - also I notice the Tire Rack pick above said 40f/35f as opposed to 35/30.

Edit: 19" wheel brainfart.

That's because the 40/35s are the proper aspect ratio for the 19" sizes listed in the first TireRack example.

Any chance of a mishap (if you don't use spacers) with 265's in front and 305's in the rear?
Thanks.

Depends on what wheels you're using.

Jaguar 20 inch wheels, I don't recall the model name, but the OEM tire is (F) 255/35/20 and (R) 295/30/20. I would rather remain stock than have any issues with rubbing. Thanks.

There will be no problem at all running 265/305's with no spacers on OEM wheels.

Anyone know why the release was pushed back a month? They were supposed to be released march first and now front say end of march.

Tire Rack checkout acts like they are in stock. I guess not.

I think the warranty gets cut in half for staggered wheels like ours.

Do you know if 305's with 15mm spacers are enough of a difference to eliminate the problem?
Does the addition of Velocity AP lowering springs change your answer?

Regardless of the springs, the car bottoms out at exactly the same height. 295's with 17mm spacers do not cause a problem, but 305's with 15mm spacers do. This means that 17mm extension works, but 20mm of extension does not. Some might be running on 305's with 17mm spacers and have not experienced any problems since they have not bottomed out yet. Bottoming out is progressively more likely as you lower the car (with springs).

FYI...was at discount tire to see how much tread I have left on my tires. I was expecting the MPS4s to be in stock beginning of March. The guy had nothing in stock and called Michllin reps to find out when they would be available. Turns out, production STARTED yesterday on most sizes.

Regarding tire sizes and wheel offsets that will fit without issue, here is my thread:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...ghlight=rohana

I run a 325 tire out back at the track and even on launch they don't rub / cut / etc.

That fits with the theory that a 15mm extension is safe.

You seem to have tried a number of combinations... Does the lip of the quarter panel simply rub the tire, or does is cut the tire?

Would turning this lip up slightly, at the 1:30 and 10:30 positions you indicated previously, correct the problem with 17mm spacers and 305 PSS, which would appear to conflict be 2 silly mm.

No damage to the tire. It actually will grab the fender lip and pull it out of place. I was able to roll it back into place with a rolling pin. A professional could easily roll the lip back a sufficient amount (3-4 mm) if it were steel, and maybe similarly with the aluminum. I have 15mm spacers, so 2mm would not be enough. If you haven't lowered your car, you aren't as likely to have an issue, but stay on smooth surfaces and don't do any hill hopping.

I already have the 17mm anodized black spacers from the group buy so will definitely be adding those and the new 4s tires in EOM sizes when they are actually in stock.

Same with powdercoating Gyrodynes all black.

Love the look of wider tires, but supremely hate the chance of scraping. 295 it is!

What is happening to those ordering the 4s tires from Tire Rack? I don't want to hit 'purchase' and then get an email saying sorry, not in stock .....

I had an order in from beginning of Feb with TR. Latest I was told is they are expecting a shipment of the fronts end of March. I believe they have the rears available now.
