Default New MY17 F-type R Awd owner!

Hey guys,

Just thought it should be a good idea to introduce myself to the forum on here as i have been following this section for months now!

Finally after a long 4-5 month-ish wait i have my new F-type R AWD in Polaris White!

Over the moon with it so far and blown away by its performance! My last car was only a Renault Sport Megane! ha!

The main thing i wanted to say is very happy with how active this forum is and some of the genuine good advice that is coming out of here. Really helped me spec the car to exactly how i wanted it and be aware of any ongoing issues!

Cheers guys!

Hopefully i can be of some help round here

I'll get some pictures up soon!

Welcome!

Lots of white F-Types on here, may be the most common color...

Do you have the black/red two tone interior?

If so lets see how many on here have that combo, me being another!!

Yes, congratulations and welcome. I am a Polaris white with the rezone interior owner. Not sure if you will get same reactions in UK/Germany but lots of attention generated by the car/color combo.

Yeah i have also noticed that it seems to be a very popular colour, was torn between the white or the IRR but i'm certainly not disappointed in the choice it looks stunning!

I have the "jet and ivory" duo tone seats.

Just hoping that i don't stain the white leather with some crappy jeans or something ha!

I believe this is one of three changes made for the 2017 model year.

1. Treadplate changed
2. Centre Console finish changed
3. Introduced incontrol remote start

may be wrong but that's all i have observed.

I seem to remember our European friends mentioning that their '16s did not yet have remote, nor did Canadians.

Could be it was not introduced. Can you remote lock and unlock or raise and lower Windows via remote?
