NorAm - Tail of the Dragon Rally for 2024
+++++++++++++++
We did the TotD last year, and several times in the past, so we aren't going this year.
There are MANY fine roads that compare in the southwest VA-NC-TN area. Many are documented on the Internet. You probably could try different ones every weekend, for a YEAR...
The event is casually organized. Meaning, you are on your own for lodging and expenses but, we do have a set itinerary and a hotel block at Tapoco. We do ask for registration (open soon, finalizing a few details) so that we can allow the places we are visiting to prepare (staffing, parking, etc). Working on event vinyl available to pre-order. I cover the costs for the website and printing lanyards/name badges. Mostly because it’s fun to do. Hope you can join us!
Living in Charlotte, the Tail of the Dragon is not too far away. Almost did it this week but the weather forecast was a little iffy so we deferred. Now we can do it as part of the group!
Registration is live! Sorry for the delay in getting this organized. My real life has kept me busy.
Here is the link with details, registration, and hotel discount for Tapoco. www.f-type.org
I will work to keep everyone updated across the various platforms but will eventually move to email as we get closer.
Please register once per vehicle. There is a place on the registration form to indicate if you will have a passenger. That will help us organize the details that make it a fun event.

Just saw the Tapoco room hold expires tomorrow. Use the booking link on the website for discount code. www.F-Type.org
I'll add that this was my first time at the Dragon, and Mel did an extremely good job of organizing things. Agenda's, maps, addresses, radio's, etc, etc. Expectations were exceeded. I will also say that 15 Jags running through tunnels together sounds epic
The firesand orange always takes the cake 🎂. What a beautiful shot of all the F-types swerving!
By the way, if any of you are located in Northeast, we are doing a day-run by Kutztown PA on June 30th. I'll be posting details soon here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...e-30th-280153/

I wish I could have met you all. I had planned the time off work but dates didn't align for me. My daughter returned from a 6months stint in Europe and I opted to pick her up. I will plan to enjoy the chorus soon. (as long as the event happens again)
