Clearing the "Duckbill" is a completely different problem. As posted above you sometimes can blow it out with the car closed up and the fan on high. An additional trick is to open and slam the doors closed several times fast. This massive burst of air pressure might be an aid in clearing the blockage too.

But the duckbill is posted on the XK forums and I am not sure the F-Type has a Duckbill?
