Default OE Witness Dashcam Feedback

All, looking at an English firm distributing OE Witness dashcam. I like the OE look and feel of the product...wondering if anyone has any feedback on an F Type install? Apologies in advance if I've missed this in previous thread (yes, I looked). Thanks.

Thanks for posting. I also would have preferred to get a OEM look and was looking for something like this for a long time.
It does mean sacrificing Auto high beam assist if you have that so not worth it my opinion. If you do not have it then it is a reasonable option but that company has a massive mark up.
Over 200 uk pounds really for just the plastic shroud is ridiculous just for the look. That translates into $350 AUD for me. AliExpress has all types of these camera with the same identical spec for different car manufacturers for about $50 AUD so all I can see is a $300 middleman profit for this company.
I went for a DDPai 5 camera which has 4K,64gb ememory built in chip (no SD card so apparently faster writing speeds and less memory corruption issue) and parking monitoring all for about $150 AUD. Obviously not as nicely hidden but functionality wise is way in advance of what you have found which is the real reason for getting a dash cam

I use the Garmin 65W which is so small that if you mount it on the passenger side of the screen you can't even see it from drivers seat as the mirror housing hides it

Hmmm, great point on the high beam assist, which I do have and frankly, really like. Jag's version of the high beam assist works best for me...my Audi's version requires I reset every time I drive and frankly isn't as responsive anyway. I think yours and BritCars approach makes more sense after all.
