A new member here looking at buying a F Type Coupe, from looking at your great photos I think IRR is the colour for me.

Thanks, IRR is a beautiful color (especially with the black pack which I think makes it pop more) but also really hard to photograph. You lose the metallic sheen sometimes in daylight with photos. Cameras have a hard time picking up the fine detail. I've seen some IRR photos that I swore were salsa red because it looked flat, not metallic. The color really does well under low light. It turns to a blood red color and the candy sheen really comes to life.

Anyway, definitely a color to view in person to really get the full idea. Same with British racing green, the other Xirallic paint color.

Great use of the light, Lynx. What camera were you using?

Thanks, I just recently picked up a Sony Alpha 77ii. This is my first "real" camera so I'm just learning and messing around with long exposures. It's fun just experimenting.

The car finally made it in. A little delayed, but it's here. Some quick driveway photos. I'll get some better photos with some much better scenery than my drive once I start getting more miles on it (technically, it's still winter but we had some unusually warm weather this weekend).

Messing around at the local air museum at night. No photoshop, all taken in camera using a 6 foot pixelstick for the light painting and some flashlights.

I see you got Firesand so it would match the datestamp from your camera. Seriously, I think Firesand will be a great color in Florida.
