I don't give a **** how the Brits say it.
Over here in the U.S. its Jag- whar.
Sound like a complete tool saying Jag - U - ar, even if it is the "correct way"
.........

Since the vehicle is British, the British pronunciation for the vehicle seems correct, even if they mispronounce the name of the animal. For the animal, the American pronunciation is probably closer to what it is called where it is native.

That said, don't expect me to change the way I say it (jag-whar), but you won't catch me saying "Jag." There's right and there's right, and there's also wrong.

What imbecile decided that was the correct way to pronounce the word jaguar?
Yes, the emphasis is on the first syllable but the word has three syllables not two - it is JAG - u - ar!!!.
But I suppose it is (very slightly) better than JAG - wire!
Edit - maybe I was just a tad harsh.
In the online Oxford dictionary the English version says JAG - u -ar but the US version says JAG- whar, see here: https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/jaguar
Toggle between UK and US and hit the "pronunciation" link on each.

That still doesn't excuse the bad pronunciation. It just documents the fact that Muricans lack the lingual dexterity to say that word properly.

Nuclear - two or three syllables?

Another quirk I've noticed is "herb" which Muricans pronounce like a cockney, dropping the 'h'. However, while dropped it's not lost, it reappears in "vehicle", which in the UK we pronounce "vee-icle".

Washed and detailed her after a long weekend trip in the mountains.

Also, the mechanism that seals off the tonneau cover area for the top was squeaking, I adjusted a spring dampener on the very complicated mechanism and no more annoying squeaks. You can see it open and into the area it covers here:

Great color combo! Appears that you overlooked the cup holders in the detailing process, get back in there : )

That looked like a "Lucky Penny" to me.

The wife says that having a coin under the floor mat prevents breakdowns. Its been working on our '14 so far, no issues after 2 years and 10K miles of ownership.

Honestly I haven't decided what to do with them, the bottom is all corroded and I don't have any aluminum polish to try. I just wonder how it got so nasty in there and if there was a part I was missing.

To make it/them easier to clean you can simply pull it/them out, just get a good grip on one edge and yank straight up. It will then push back down into place.
I never drink in the car and I forbid my passenger from doing so so I have zero use for the cup holders.
Instead I pulled it/them out many years ago and lined the compartment with a piece of black car carpet cut to shape and I use it as a sunglasses holder, works great and no rattles.

Great idea OzXFR! He could also locate some black rubber based material and cut out two circles if he wanted to continue to use them as cup holders to hide the corrosion and provide a little noise reduction for his change or non paper beverage containers.
