Nothing like a beautiful fall day in Maine…

 

Bought this 2023 P450 F Type a few months ago with +/- 11,500 miles on it.
The all black wheels it came with were a bit much for me (on black car) so I had them refinished with machined faces, black / clear powder coat.
Picture taken at the body shop when I picked it up after the wheels were done (also had them 'buff out' a front lip scuff mark).



I like these wheels but seem to be on the verge of ordering a BDPK forged set anyway :/

 

Wouldn't blame you replacing those wheels, they look like they belong on a I-Pace tbh.

 

The machined faces do look better. My 2024 has the same wheel design which has grown on me during the few first months of ownership.

 

I had similar wheels on my Audi E-Tron GT and had them powder-coated and painted (they had plastic inserts that I took to purple/black). They are for my Winter tires and are in storage or I'd attach a picture. Were they my wheels on a black car, I'd likely just powder-coat them black. They also remind me of the I-Pace 22" wheels which I never really liked (I didn't like any of the I-Pace wheels and swapped the wheels I got on the car, which were black, with aftermarket wheels I had powder coated to match the wrap).

 

The only thing better than fall foliage in all it's resplendent glory, is a freshly-washed F-Type among the leaves!



Looks better today...ceramic coated the car. (Winter is coming, after all)

 

This past week has been great here.

I don't think I have ever seen any FTypes around town and would have remembered yours!
I may ask to impose to look at your wheel setup in person as I am considering ordering a new set and would love to see those offsets.
