Open trunk, wont close

Default Open trunk, wont close

16' f type r, just opened my trunk for less then 10 minutes, went to shut the thing and it won't close, can anyone help with this? Thx in advance

Did you possibly leave your key fob in the trunk area.


If not, then manually close the trunk and try to reopen with the button. That should reprogram the lid appropriately.

Put your hand on the rear edge of the lid and pull down until it latches. You will feel resistance as the motors in the struts turn.

Could be low battery also. Typically won't open if that's the case though.
