Hi all, what sort of miles / kms are people getting from p zeros?
my f type has 33,000 km on the tyres. They still have life left but as getting a bit slippery.
Sounds like you won the record for P-Zero mileage.
From numerous posts on the forum it seems more usual to get about 14K miles with the rears going faster than the fronts.
You have done 20K miles but perhaps they are bald??
I posted about the P Zero wear a couple of weeks ago. Mine only have about 6800 miles (<11,000 Km) on them and are near halfway worn down. The front tires have 6/32" tread depth remaining and the rears have between 4-5/32" tread depth remaining. At the current rate I can expect to replace them before I hit the 10,000 mile/16,000 km mark. That's pathetic. But that's the price of owning an F Type I suppose.

No, it's the price of the horrible OEM tires. I've gotten better mileage and grip out of Falkens and Bridgestones.
The shorter the tread life of the PZeros, the better- because this gives the owner the reason to buy proper tires for the F-Type. The handling is transformed!

No, that is the price of running on the Pirelli PZeros!
I already spoke to my Jaguar dealer about the tires. They agreed to price match Tire Rack on a set of the well regarded Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I'd rather have them do it than to trust a local tire shop who might not properly put the car up on a lift or treat it like it's just another Toyota Corolla than needs new tires.
In any case I'm looking at north of $2000 for the whole job with tax and installation. Yikes.
Just hope they do not sub it out to the local tire shop!!
Though, I must say that both times I have done changes, the tire shop was very careful with the car.
They seemed to respect the vehicle for what it is.
Mine lasted 36,000km with no tracking but some fun mountain carving sprinkled far and few in between. Changed to Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06+ and, wow, what a difference. I'm sure the summer Michelins probably feel and drive much better, but I agree with a number of members the PZeros leave a lot to be desired.
I've never been into spending a great deal of money for tires and generally buy second tier tires that seem to be the next best thing. As tire technology drastically improved over the years, the difference between the best [Mich PS4?] and others seems to have considerably narrowed.
I came up with a set of summer Yokohama Advan v601's as an alternative a couple of years ago and I have been really pleased with them. Although I would not consider myself a very aggressive driver as I get older, it would be hard to imagine the PS4 being that much better as my car seems glued down in corners. I have about 3K miles on them thus far and they appear to be wearing well.
In any case, it might be an alternative worth considering if your budget won't allow or you can't justify don't spending 2K. I believe the set from a local tire chain came in at just under 1K out the door.

The main difference is in the wet and/or cold. Both my XKR and Aston were a total handful with the OEM tyres (Dunlop Sport Maxx and P Zeros).
The XKR has been running on the PS4S for over 5 years but I put them on the Aston a few weeks ago and can no longer provoke a wheelspin whereas it used to fish tail down the road with the P Zeros and it was almost impossible to pull away cleanly in the wet.

I just bought my new-to-me F Type SVR yesterday. It only has 5600 miles, but I plan to swap to the Conti Extreme Contact DWS06+ by Fall as the car still has original tires on it. I traded in my 2013 BMW M3 for this F Type and I consistently ran those DWS06+. They're phenomenal tires IMO and a great value as well.
+1 on the Conti DWS06+. I had them on my last F-Type before I sold it and being here in New England I can get an extra couple of months of dry cold weather driving before the snow flies with an all-season compound and those act like summer tires in the summer. Once these OEM P-Zero's wear out I'll be replacing them with the Conti's again.

Makes sense and point taken. Fortunately my car has never seen rain and if it's out on a cold day [50's], it's rare.

Join Costco and wait for their special. I paid $1350 in 2018. The tires are night and day to the Poop Zeros. I just checked online - for some reason they are not listing the 4 S - but the Pilot Sport Cup 2s are listing at $1750 less $150 (special is on now)
Many tire and tire wear threads on here but since this one is active now, I’ll add my story here. Bought my new-to-me MY18 coupe in March of 2020 with 10,800 miles on it. I am second owner and pretty sure the Pzeros that were on it were the factory originals. Since then, I have only racked up another ~12,000 miles on the car; sitting at 22,700 miles when I had to replace the two front tires due to excessive wear on the insides. (pics attached) One side I had cord showing(!) and that was very concerning.
I was very surprised to discover the wear. The rest of the front tires, and the rear tires, seemed to be wearing just fine – still above the wear bars and otherwise even. I had no negative sensations in the car and no complaints with the handling. It always drives like a dream, although I don’t tend to push the traction limits very often, and I avoid rain/snow at all possible. (the FT is my pleasure car, not a DD) Even so, I eagerly had a set of PS4S installed and had my Jag dealer do a 4 wheel alignment as I didn’t want to chew thru the expensive PS4S as fast as this. The values were basically pretty good, but they did tweak a few numbers in to spec.
Once I rack up some driving time I’ll report back on whether I can tell much of a difference. According to the forum consensus, I should, as the Pzeros are constantly labeled as cr*p here and the PS4S praised.
If only the inner edge on the front, the wear is indicative of excessive toe-out OR excessive negative camber. Toe out would reduce your strait line directional stability since the tires would fight each other to be the one tracking strait. Excessive negative camber should be readily observed from the front of the car. Unless you did track time (where you are braking alot), I'd be surprised you'd have so much camber to result in significant asymmetric wear.
Can you share your as-found and as-left alignment numbers with us? I'll be able to opine with a little more basis if so.
On a related note, my original PZeros were gone at ~13,500 miles. I had two track events on them by then. They were greaseballs by the 2nd half of my first track event. They were so greasy the 2nd time I thought grandma was in the front seat (traction control interference).
Hey guys - sorry for the delay. Yep, been meaning to post the before/after spec sheet they gave me. See below. (Don't know how to make it smaller, so sorry for the large image.) Sadly, I have not had a chance to really drive her yet, except home from the dealer.
