Default P7 grille

So lots of posts on replacing the grille to the P7 style, some say the Paramount grille is not great quality, some have done a DIY job, so where can you buy a P7 grille, seems you need a VIN number, is it possible to get one, anyone else making a reproduction other than paramount

Look what arrived today! Lots of overkill on packaging, but thankfully everything arrived safely. Very pretty, but wow, kind of flimsy - JLR must be making a pretty penny on these.

Now just need to wrap the surround and get someone to make those sensor mounts....

- That's a cry for help if anyone has access to 3D printing!

If you need 3D printing, in our area, local public library's have "maker spacers" for public use, just need to train (not to difficult from what I've read) and pay for plastic. Bigger challenge is scanning the part, although I have found a library that says they have a scanner. Phone apps are out there to scan, but not really free. Some not expensive. Results unknown. I'm in middle of trying to do this.

Looking forward to the end result, want to this also, i have no front sensors, so no alterations there.Any harm to ask what was the total price of the parts. If you have time a video or step to step details on fitment would be great, how the front bumper comes of would be interesting. Good luck with the modification.

Post #26. Includes details for the sensors. Guess that'll just make your install that much more simple 8)

Hello friends, have just met my friend and this informed me that he can print adapter again. This gives access to the 3d printer again.
If you want to have some and interest, please contact me.

That will come as great news to a number of people. I just got around to installing mine about a month ago, and they fit perfectly.

Oh ya! PM sent. You are my hero!

I had my brother working on getting a resistor to bypass the two sensors, but this will definately be better.

I would also be interested in any information on obtaining a P7 grill, or equal.

Thanks

i've been trying to source one for a while, and even with a VIN, it seems to be extremely hard. It would be much appreciated if someone can point me in the correct direction. Cheers!

You need a VIN of a P7. Even then not all dealers order the grille. It's a bit of luck.

I'll wait a few more days and collect the orders. Then I will order the adapters from my friend.
I think I'll do another one or two more.
Because of price and shipping I will write to you via PM.

I've got the P7 VIN but unfortunately no luck, otherwise I'd like some adapters too.

Default P7 grill

If someone could share a P7 VIN I would like to try our dealer here (we have a new one opening soon) to see if a grill can be ordered.

Thanks
