Default Pirelli Tire Choices

Hi All,

I'm having issues choosing the original pirelli tires that come standard on the 2017 F Type R. I got the vehicle as CPO so they replaced all 4 tires. However unfortunately I hit a pot hole and got a bubble on the tire. I'm trying to find a replacement but the pirelli website is listing about 10 different P Zero tires. All with the same spec but with different prices. Tire rack representative said that even though these tires have the same spec and size, they are not specifically made for the F Type. For example, one pirelli p zero summer tire is $17 cheaper but the rep said its made for the Jaguar XF. Does this make any sense? Or can someone provide the correct link for the tires? I only need to replace one front tire.

Below are the two links with the same tires.

Look at your existing tire and match the service description number along with the UTQG grades and you should be good to go.

I matched the UTQG grades and the service description. Both links are exactly the same. So I guess I can go for the cheaper one.

AFAIK, tyres for Jaguars are marked on the sidewall with a J, but I don't think they're model-specific, just Jaguar-specific.

The rear tires on my convertible V6S are marked for an Aston Martin and the fronts are marked for a Mercedes. They perform as well as the original Jaguar marked tires, meaning I will replace them with PS4 as soon as they wear out.

The brand specific markings may be there to identify oem tires for warranty ( or lack of) purposes, and not appplicable to replacements.
