Mine is a 2014 V8S convertible and it has more cracks and pops than I want. Some ask me what's wrong with the exhaust, and whether it's supposed to sound like that 
Even just letting the gas go from as low as 2000 rpms, the car makes a lasting popping spectacle of itself all the way down to around idle. Medium to hard accelerations makes more loud growling sounds than I need plus a loud burp on every shift. I just love the way the car sounds generally displeased with you - in a good way!
It is so bad that I turn active exhaust off when I go into a neighborhood, well, most of the time..
I don't know if there can be subtle differences even between cars of the same model, but I have more delightful anger in my V8S than I need.
