I've checked with them why the photos of the grill on the cars lack the emblem and they've sent me the 'unedited' photos. Not sure why they edited it out.

And when I asked them about the price, and how it is more expensive than VR's, this was their response.. 🤔

They edit the logo/emblem because of trademark laws and avoid having their item taken down and probably get a cease and desist from Jaguar. Also, that’s why you will notice many of the title for items listed on AliExpress reads and sounds like as if Yoda wrote it to throw off the programs big brand name companies run 24/7 looking for trademark violators in World Wide Web.

No, it's not. Wrong color, plus my sensors mount from the back of the grille, not the front (much less obvious)..

Also, my 2 cents: the P7 grille looks much better and cleaner without the growler.

Yes...came up for a breath of air. Might have to re-submerge, but hopefully not.

Group buy? I would be interested and would prefer without emblem.

I'd personally go for the all black emblem over no emblem I think. I've contacted the seller, he mentioned that there will be a discounted price of 680usd/piece for 10 unit group buy. And more savings if shipped to same location (this may work for you guys over at US).

I'd be in either way. Would prefer no emblem though. I kind of like when people can't quite figure out what they are looking at!

Seller said it can be done but will be slightly more expensive due to the small changes in drawings.

I’d be interested in the group buy. Preferably with badge and sensor mounts.

I'd be down for a group buy also.
Do we know how good the quality is?

3D printing isn't great without a good post processing and coating, principally on that size and price... Perhaps is best someone or a group buy one and test it before even think about group buy, careful with rip-offs.

Perhaps only the mold is 3D printed, best option, if the grill is printed, verify which material and 3D process, with all the heat, isn't a great place for large and thin wall parts

I would almost guarantee it is the same on that VR originally was trying to sell (or not sell, depends on how you look at it). If you scroll further up, you can see what the fit and finish looked like. You decide if that is what you want on your nice F-Type.

Here's a video from the seller I uploaded to YouTube.
Video isn't that clear unfortunately.
Seller claims that the grill is 3D printed using photosensitive resin (google translated). If it was casted from mould, the price would be much much lower since it is much less time consuming.
edit to add photos:

I agree on being careful with 3D printed products. Depending upon the type of plastic and any post processing, many are weak, brittle, heat sensitive, cold sensitive, UV sensitive, and/or vibration sensitive. Being attached to the front of a car is not an easy life for a plastic part.

You can see some imperfections under light but probably not noticeable when installed or maybe some more wet sanding and polished.

For the effort and price, doesn't look bad deal, I would give a try, possible always to fix it. Printing that on my Formlabs would cost double or triple and then would still necessary put parts together.
